Plant Keying Workshop at the UCSC Arboretum & Botanic Garden

The evening workshops are led by assistant director of the UCSC Arboretum, Lucy Ferneyhough, and will provide an informal opportunity to learn about plant terminology and identification in a relaxed atmosphere based on seasonal availability of plant material. Participants are encouraged to bring plants to look at together and ideas for topics for future sessions. The sessions will be every 4th Monday of the month from 5:30-7:30pm at the Horticulture 2 meeting hall. Participation is free for members and UCSC students, with a suggested donation for non-members of $10-15.
