UCSC Orchestra—Copland’s Billy the Kid and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 in E minor, Op. 64

Audiences are invited on a journey from the American Wild West into the rich depths of late-Romantic darkness, culminating in a triumphant finale as the UCSC Orchestra performs American composer Aaron Copland ‘s Billy the Kid (Suite from the Ballet), composed in 1939, and Russian composer Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 in E minor, Op. 64, composed in 1888.
ADMISSION
- Attend in person at the Music Center Recital Hall at UC Santa Cruz.

- Free for UCSC students (ticket required).

- Ticket holders not seated at least 5 minutes before the advertised start time may forfeit their ticket/seat and no refund will be issued.

PARKING
- Arts Lot #126 is the closest parking lot to the event.
- Visitor event parking permits are available in advance on Eventbrite as a ticket purchase “add on” at a discounted rate or via the on-site attendant at the event for the standard visitor price.
- UCSC affiliates may use their valid UCSC permit, rather than purchase an additional event parking permit; however, on-site attendants will only issue permits at the standard non-affiliate rate.
