Kraw Lecture Series in Silicon Valley

The Kraw Lecture Series in Silicon Valley is made possible by a generous gift from UC Santa Cruz alumnus George Kraw (1971). These engaging talks, free and open to the public, highlight the impact of UC Santa Cruz science and technology research, from deep space to the deep sea.

The Kraw Lecture Series opens on March 22 with Jonathan Fortney, astronomy and astrophysics professor. His talk, How Common is the Earth? The Discovery and Characterization of Rocky Planets Around Other Stars, highlights his work on the Kepler Mission and upcoming NASA missions.
