Identifying, Understanding (The Impact) and Responding to Microaggressions in Learning Environments

This interactive workshop is designed for academic employees (senate faculty, lecturers, researchers, etc.) to assist you in identifying different types of microaggressions and to understanding the role that communication plays in creating and challenging microaggressive comments.

Facilitated by Dr. Teresa Maria Linda Scholz (Ph.D., University of Colorado, Boulder), UCSC's Campus Diversity Officer for Staff and Students with the Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Refreshments will be provided. Seating is limited and RSVP is required!
