Summer Fruit Tree Pruning

Description: 

Summer pruning is one of the best ways to ensure the health and productivity of your fruit trees. Learn summer pruning techniques from Matthew Sutton, owner of Orchard Keepers, and Orin Martin, manager of UCSC's Alan Chadwick Garden, at this demonstration workshop. The workshop takes place from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm on Saturday, August 4 at the UCSC Farm on the UC Santa Cruz campus. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a snack.

Cost of the workshop is $25 general admission; $20 for Friends of the Farm & Garden members, and certified UC Master Gardeners; $15 for beginning farmers and limited-income participants; $5 for UCSC students.
