Grow Your Own!

Description:

Truly local and DIY! Learn how to select, grow, and arrange annual flowers and perennials from your garden and yard to create beautiful bouquets.

In this workshop, Alan Chadwick Garden manager Orin Martin teams with flower grower and bouquet maker Caroline Martin to discuss how to select a range of blooms and grow them organically. Orin will focus on the many varieties of plants that can generate year-round blossoms in your yard, and Caroline will demonstrate the basic steps and principles used to create your own bouquets.

Caroline is the owner of Wild Moon Flowers (https://www.wildmoonflowerssantacruz.com/), a flower farm and floral design service located in Santa Cruz.
