Beautiful Universe

Beautiful Universe in the MAH’s Atrium. Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History. May 21-31, 2026. An astrophotography exhibit by the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics, UC Santa Cruz.
In the 20+ photos, you will see galaxies, novae, supernovae, reflection and emission nebulae, and interstellar dust clouds that give birth to new stars and planets. Images by Steve Mandel and Bob Fera, deep Space Remote Observatories. Astronomers will be available from 2pm-6pm on weekends to answer questions.
