Exploring SWANA Identi-TEA

November 12 @ 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Interested in Southwest Asian & North African (SWANA) culture and tea? Join us on Thursday, November 12th from 3-4:15pm at the Eloise Pickard Smith Gallery (Cowell), as we discuss, rate, and try iconic tea from around the SWANA region. We’ll also be making keychains and jewelry with SWANA-esque beads!

Hosted by the Asian American/Pacific Islander Resource Center (AA/PIRC) at UCSC, this event is FREE and open to all UCSC affiliates (students, staff, and faculty). AA/PIRC is one of the six ethnic, gender, and sexuality resource centers at UCSC, offering events and other opportunities to connect with the AA/PI/SWANA diaspora.

For questions or accommodation requests, please email aapirc@ucsc.edu.
