The 2026 Festival of Monsters image is a monstrous banana slug rampaging across a city, like a kaiju.

Use your powers of deduction during a special Festival of Monsters edition of the bone-chilling bluffing game Blood on the Clocktower, 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026., at Game Santa Cruz.

Players join opposing teams of Good and Evil in this game overseen by a Storyteller who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions. The goal is to successfully deduce and execute the demons before they outnumber the townfolk.

Tickets cost $24.99 and can be purchased at https://www.gamesantacruz.com/events. The Festival is sponsored by the UC Santa Cruz Center for Monster Studies. Game Santa Cruz is located at 1101 Cedar Street, Santa Cruz.
