Santa Cruz Warriors Native American Heritage Night: A Celebration of Culture and
Community coming to Santa Cruz November 14th, 2025!

Join us for a special evening as the Santa Cruz Warriors proudly host their first ever Native
American Heritage special event night! This event is a tribute to the rich history, diverse cultures,
and enduring contributions of our local Native American and Indigenous communities.
This special game night will be more than just basketball; it will be an immersive cultural
experience. We will honor Native American traditions through a variety of engaging activities
and performances, including:
● Pre-Game and Halftime Performances: Enjoy captivating performances of traditional
songs and dances from local and regional Native American cultural groups. These
powerful displays will showcase the beauty and significance of ancestral arts.
● Educational and Cultural Displays: Explore informational booths and tables
highlighting the Native American community and the ongoing work of several local
organizations and resource groups dedicated to enriching and educating the
community about their deep connection to the Santa Cruz area.
● Community Partnership: This event is presented in collaboration with American
Indian Resource Center, Student Alliance for Native American Indigenous Students,
UCSC departments, Cabrillo College, and local Native American organizations and to
ensure a celebration that is authentic, respectful, and meaningful.
This is a night to celebrate, learn, and honor the vibrant heritage that is a cornerstone of our
community’s past and present. We invite all fans to come together to show their support and
appreciation.
