The UC Santa Cruz Department of Athletics and Recreation is proud to announce the second annual Run Like a Slug 5k. Banana Slugs can register here for the race.
Get ready to embrace your inner Banana Slug at the Run Like A Slug 5k Fun Run! Join fellow students, staff, and faculty members for a scenic and spirited run (or walk!) through the beautiful UC Santa Cruz campus. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to get active, this event is perfect for all paces—sluggish or speedy.
Expect a laid-back, supportive atmosphere, some slug-themed surprises, and a great way to enjoy the outdoors before finals. Costumes and UCSC pride are encouraged.
Perks include fun giveaways, music, and post-race refreshments.
