DESCRIPTION:Dear CAN members:\n \nThe Earth Futures Institute and UCSC Climate Action Network (CAN) are pleased to announce Climate Salon #5\, by our very own Patrick Chuang of the Earth and Planetary Sciences Department:\n \n“Energy and material constraints on society in a fossil-fuel free world”\n   on Thurs Feb 26 at 3:30 PM in the CfAO Atrium\, in person and by ZOOM.\n\nIn this talk\, Patrick will take his previous Climate Salon as a point of departure and\nattempt to estimate what energy and material resources will realistically be available in\na fossil-fuel-free world.
