DESCRIPTION:Audiences are invited to the free winter quarter chamber concert at the Music Center Recital Hall at UC Santa Cruz to hear selections from multiple ensembles\, including the following: \nUCSC Percussion Ensemble\nWilliam Winant\, director \nUCSC Celtic Chamber Music Ensemble\nBill Coulter\, director \nUCSC Classical Guitar Ensemble \nChristopher Mallet\, director\nWilliam Coulter\, steel string guitar\nCaila Bigelman\, violin soloist \nUCSC Horn Ensemble\nSusan Vollmer\, director \nUCSC Central Asian Ensemble\nTanya Merchant\, director \nUCSC Experimental Music Ensemble\nAmy Beal\, director\nRicky Lomelí\, special guest/drum set \n—\nADMISSION\n– Free and open to the public.\n– Open seating (no ticket required).\n– Doors are scheduled to open 30 minutes prior to event start time.\n—\nPARKING\n– Parking by permit\, ParkMobile\, or $11 cash/credit via the on-site parking attendant\n– Arts Lot #126 is the closest parking lot to the event\n– Visitors with DMV placards or plates may park for free in DMV spaces\, Medical spaces\, or ParkMobile spaces without additional payment\, or in timed zones for longer than the posted time.\n– UCSC affiliates must purchase their permits before arriving at the event in order to receive their discounted UCSC rate. Attendants will only sell the non-affiliate-priced permits.\n– More information provided by UCSC Transportation & Parking Services (TAPS)\n—\nimage: UCSC Central Asian Ensemble in Washington\, D.C.\, where they performed and liaised with the Embassy of Uzbekistan.\n—\nThis program is open to all members of the public consistent with state and federal law.
