DESCRIPTION:Sitar maestro Nishat Khan returns to UC Santa Cruz with tabla maestro Nitin Mitta in an Indian classical music concert.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n—\n\n\n\n\n\nADMISSION\n– Attend in person at the Music Center Recital Hall at UC Santa Cruz.\n– General admission ticket prices and information to be announced.\n– Free for UCSC students (ticket required).\n– Tickets available through Eventbrite only.\n– Follow the Music Dept on Eventbrite for notices and updates.\n– Doors are scheduled to open 30 minutes prior to event start time.\n– Ticket holders not seated at least 5 minutes before the advertised start time may forfeit their ticket/seat and no refund will be issued.\n\nPARKING\n– Arts Lot #126 is the closest parking lot to the event.\n– Parking prices\, instructions\, and more information to be announced.\n– Visitors with DMV placards or plates may park for free in DMV spaces\, Medical spaces\, or ParkMobile spaces without additional payment\, or in timed zones for longer than the posted time.\n– UCSC affiliates may use a valid UCSC A-permit or daily scratcher rather than purchasing additional event parking.\n– More information provided by UCSC Transportation & Parking Services. \nThis program is open to all members of the public consistent with state and federal law.

SUMMARY:Harvest Festival
DESCRIPTION:Connect with community on the campus farm at the annual Harvest Festival! Harvest Fest will have activities for all ages including face painting\, flower pressing\, pumpkin painting\, cider pressing\, tractor rides\, live music\, and more! Plus\, enjoy food and treats from local food trucks\, participate in an apple pie bake-off (more info coming soon)\, connect with local organizations\, and enjoy the campus farm. Full list of activities coming soon.\n\n\n\nCost: $5 for general public; free entry for current students of UCSC\, Hartnell and Cabrillo College\, Friends of the UCSC Farm & Garden members\, and children under 12. Cash preferred at the entrance gate. \n\n\n\nTransportation and parking: We encourage carpooling\, walking\, biking\, or taking the bus if you are able to! Parking info coming soon. Logistics: Please do not harvest any of the crops on the farm during your visit. The crops grown on the farm feed students in need and support our research and programming. We encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle to save plastic and stay hydrated! Pets are not allowed on the UC Santa Cruz campus (with the exception of service animals). The Harvest Festival is presented by the UC Santa Cruz Center for Agroecology\, the Food Systems Working Group\, Measure 43 and Life Lab. \n\n\n\nThe UCSC Farm has moderately steep slopes and uneven terrain.
