Calendar access and user accounts
- Go to the calendar login page at events.ucsc.edu/login.
- Choose the Login with Google option.
- If you have an account, you’ll be logged in. If you don’t have an account, a new account will be created for you.
Note
New users are granted access as contributors, allowing you to create events, venues, or organizers, but not publish them. You will need to coordinate with an editor to publish your content. If you believe you need more access permissions, let us know.
User roles and permissions
| Role | Abilities | Recommended for |

| Editor | Create, edit, publish, or delete any event, venue or organizer. | Web/event liaisons, communications team members, department managers, frequent event hosts. |
| Author | Create, edit, publish, or delete their events, venues, or organizers only. | Event hosts, organizer staff, infrequent calendar users. |
| Contributor | Create, edit, and delete, but not publish events, venues or organizers. An editor must approve contributor content. | Student staff, provisional staff, infrequent contributors where an editor manages their work. |
