The Natural Language Processing (NLP) MS Program, housed within the Baskin School of Engineering at UC Santa Cruz is designed to help you master the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the rapidly evolving field of Generative AI. Our program offers a rigorous and highly-crafted curriculum that combines theoretical foundations with practical applications to prepare you for conquering NLP challenges “in the wild”.

Our mission is to train the next generation of NLP leaders, driving innovation and solving complex problems. By providing a comprehensive and rigorous education that emphasizes leadership and collaboration, we empower our students to make significant contributions to the field of AI.
