Please join February’s Archaeology and Biological Anthropology Lunch Talk, “On the Margins of Empire: The Archaeology of Social Complexities in Lower Akinyele, Southwest Nigeria Ca. 18th- 20th centuries,” presented by Boluwaji Ajayi (Anthropology, UC Santa Cruz).
This workshop is designed for students considering field school in archaeology, biological anthropology, paleoanthropology or primatology. Faculty and student resource persons will speak to topics such as what field school is like, assessing alignment with student goals, picking the right school, and how to apply. Refreshments (pizza) will be served.
