This event highlights Dr. Wong’s journey as a woman of color into academia, her path to becoming a lecturer, and her ongoing research in planetary health, sustainability, and community-based public health. Through her story, students will gain insight into nontraditional academic pathways and the impact of women scholars shaping inclusive and applied research.
