This screening of Shimmering will be part of a series of films presented by CDAR as part of its fall and winter programming. The film lends itself to numerous points of discussion, depending on the audience and event presenters, so this will likely be the first of several monthly community screenings. Post-film screening discussion will include Matte Hewitt, the filmmaker, Associate Professor of Film, Selmin Kara, and Angel Riotutar, Director of the American Indian Resource Center.
